Even though I already knew this, it was a nice recap. This also made me realize why cuts feel better when you put pressure on them, especially the hands (I manage to get my hands bleeding quite frequently). When you put pressure on it, your brain doesn't get signals from the nerves, so it can't tell you that you are in pain.

I already knew everything in this article. They explained all of the info very well.

This article explained to me why nerves tingle like that. I was wondering...if it cuts off info from the brain when your limb falls asleep...is it like you can't use part of your body, and it's just there doing nothing until you can wake it up again?

Well, Sophie, you have to use your brain to even wake in up in the first place, so that is unlikely. And Howard, that is sometimes useful when you don't want something to hurt as bad. I just pinch myself there and somewhere else to get my mind off of it(although I still hurt after)

This article was very well written, whether or not the reader already knew the information given (which I did, and most of us do). It is interesting what a large amount of pressure can do.

This article was very interesting although mostly everyone who commented knew about it (including me) it was still very nice to have a little reminder about it. Overall, I thought that this article was very fascinating.

I knew this, but what if the sciatic nerve fell asleep? Your body would start to jerk around like crazy, right? I'm not too sure about this. What about a muscle falling asleep? I wonder what would happen? That would be interesting. I do agree with Maya, we all know most of the stuff written in this article, but it's a good review.

I was thinking the same thing sophia: what would happen if your brain fell asleep? Actually. You would be dead. Because the brain controls your breathing, and everything else.

I thought this article was really interesting. I never knew about this, so I really like this article. I always sit in the japanese position during tea-making class, so it really hurts my legs. At the end, I can't walk properly for 30 minutes!!!

I enjoyed this article very much. I always wondered why my limbs fell asleep. Now I know. The person who wrote this article did an excellent job in keeping it interesting.

By the way when I said Sciatic Nerve, I didn't say any random nerve. You can feel the sciatic nerve sometimes (if your doctor is bad) in hip replacement surgery. I think same goes for resurfacing.

I really liked this article too, especially since it was brief and you can read it very quickly. I only knew half of the information so it was a refresher and a learning thingy.
