I chose this article based on the summary rather than reading through the article first(bad mistake!) so this article is rather boring and not kid-friendly with its complicated terms. But it is interesting how the mosquito can hear the wingbeat but is not affected at all by the louder noises around them.
This article was very interesting. I had never even thought about the possibility of mosquitoes hearing. It went into a lot of complex details that were not for people our age (or even very understandable). I would have liked it more if they had at least included an explanation, not expecting us to know what all of the terms meant. Overall, the article was interesting, but not kid-friendly.
