Wow.. If that bacteria can actually cause the wells to produce the oil that can't be accessed, that might give the impression that we can get more oil all the time. Oil isn't a renewable source of energy, and people really need to be made aware about that..
I agree with victoria this bacteria is a very effective way to be aware and find more oil which plays a huge role in modern day society plus bacteria is natural and is found every where we go which might lower the price even if it doesnt because of the expensive equipment to find and collect it but even if is expensive the US could make up for the money by selling the oil for the up to date price which would most likely overwhelm the price over earnings
I never thought that people would be using oil for so many different things. People should switch to any other renewable source of energy because there wont be enough in a century
I think its amazing that bacteria can make the wells produce oil so that we can access it easily. That is very impressive. I never thought that we would be able to do something as amazing as this. Even though the information the article supplied was very interesting. I think that the author could of gone into detail just a little bit more. Overall, this was a very informative article.
I would of never thought that bacteria can cause wells to produce more oil and that can be increased. It is also agree with Victoria and Eli because the effective way to be aware and find more oil which plays a huge amount in society. Over all this article was very interesting.
I think that if there is oil that oil tankers cannot access, we shouldn't be bringing out bacteria to get that oil from us. If this is a problem, then they should great more efficient oil tankers that don't trap in oil. Oil costs money, and if we cannot afford to have un-acessable oil in tankers, we need to make more efficient tankers!!
I don't really like articles that don't have information that's completely solid with a conclusion. I think the bacteria idea is good, but don't they use this also to clean up small oil spills in the ocean?

I didn't like this article very much, because it didn't really seem sure of its self. Overall the information was just a little to shaky

It's so cool how if you inject a certain species of bacteria into an oil well, then you get 380 million more barrels of oil.
