Yeah, I agree with Sophia. They already said that they didn't know a lot about what happened in between North America and Argentina. I think that they could benefit from these sites, too...
Sophia, I agree. Although I always thought that Rancho La Brea was the best place to go if you wanted to see tar. A new king (or queen) may be crowned Ruler of the Tar Pits! (Don Don DAAAAAAAAAA!)
Of course they can benefit from these sites, Victoria, but the question is, how much? If they find new species then that can be a major breakthrough, but if they find just more of the same, it can only help them with migrating paths. I think, that with so many undefined creatures out in the world, that time is the only thing that separates us from the discoveries in these menes. If only one out of the tens of tar pits is a whole kilometer by half a kilometer, then surely there HAVE to be new species there. Maybe we could even find some of the rocks deep down in the Earth, because they would have been trapped there. Who knows.
It's interesting how some species are similar to both tar pits. This could possibly suggest that the animals migrated in a way either from or to North America. EIther that, or they just had a large habitat range.

Someone should really inspect those sites more. It seems like they could hold a ton more fossils that The La Brea Tar Pits, with the ecosystem...

I agree with Brandon. I think the reason there are so many animals in the pits is because animals migrate.
