I thought that this video was kind of silly, yet entertaining. This could help people remember their elements, but not really give tons of info about it.

I disagree Howard!! Look at the details some more and you will appreciate all the great details about the elements.

I liked the video. I thought the video was entertaining because it showed where the elements were located. Howard: I agree with Ms. G. NOT silly. It gives a lot of details.

Just the way the tone of the music was, thats all. When I said silly, I meant sort of humorous (Neon lights up the sun and a pizza place!).

I love this video!! I like how they provide all of the common mixtures of elements used in modern life. It's very kid friendly and very colorful and catchy!

I thought that this video was a very cool and informative. I liked how they incorperated all of the elements into one song.

i agree with Ms. Ghazarian and Ara. the video had lots of details. it was also cool how they showed when 2 elements were combined, some things they made.

I found it very interesting how they made something like the periodic table that can be REALLY boring, and made it into something much more fun and interesting . I also liked the part about the elephants.

I agree with Ara, Ms. Ghazarian, Brandon F. and every body else that like this video. Howard it was informative and very fun to watch. My favorite part was when it was the classy pizza place with the gold and silver. It gives tons of information in a cool and easy to follow way.

If you watch this over and over and over again, this could actually be a memory guide to common compounds like sand, sugar, salt and chalk. I've pretty much got it stuck in my head. "Come on come on and meet the elements. May I introduce you to our friends the elements. Like a box of paint...."

Oh ok Howard.

I agree with you Brandon. It is a good way to review if listen over and over.

That was really funny! I loved that they gave details on the elements and you could see all the info. I also like that they showed what happens when you combine elements. I was really fascinated my all of the different things in this video.

I thought that this was a great way to remember the elements! I sort of agree with howard because he said it was humorous. Adding onto ara, it really gives details and has good funny music. I actually learned a few things that I had never known before.

If anyone ran out of cheese at home- don't worry there's enough stuff packed into this to last you for a year! I agree with you, Ms. Ghazarian. There are a lot of details- like when the elements combine to form things that they showed. I think Howard and Ara are both right- it was silly and was detailed. My favorite part is when they introduced us to an elephant. I also liked the chart to show us what all the living things are made up of.

I liked this video and it was very intertaining! I also agree with what Ms. Ghazarian said, IT IS PACKED WITH INFO! ON THE ELEMENTS AND WHERE YOU CAN FIND THE ELEMENT!

Well, I loved this video so much that I've watched it 5+ times. So silly, yet so much info. I didn't know that sand was only silicon and oxygen!

This tells you great detail about certain elements. I thought that it was very entertaining

I though that this video was very cool and kid friendly. It's amazing that you can make a thing like the periodic table of the elements very fun to learn and catchy. It's amazing how many useful compounds elements can make.

I agree with Howard, "I thought that this video was kind of silly, yet entertaining." It's kid friendly, for sure. THe one thing I din't like about it was the COMPLETELY ANNOYING SIX-YEAR-OLD SONG!!! DOES ANYONE AGREE WITH ME?!

Anaïs said...

I loved that video because it seems appropriate for very small kids (well not too small but at least 4 or 5) and at the same time it really teaches something. Even small kids will remember that! It's really fun. I agree with Austin: this song did have a catch. It has it's own kind of silliness, but in the way Howard meant it. Fascinating!

Psalm, I don't want to be offensive, but if you think about it, this song is not that silly. In fact I really dont' think it's 6-year-old-ish. It's actually kinda cool. Maybe you should try analyzing it better.

wow! that was really random and silly, but I liked it! If you memorized it it could really help you remember your elements!

It was really fun and entertaining, but the details, like ms ghazarian said, were really interesting

I also agree with Ms. Ghazarian that it does give a lot of detail. The song was a little weird, but definitely worked to help people to remember things about the elements. The main tune to the song got on my nerves after a little while, though. It was great in the video how they gave examples of element mixtures. For example, humans are made of 10% Hydrogen, 18% Carbon, 65% Oxygen, 3% Nitrogen, and "other stuff". Also, it was good how they gave examples of places that you can find elements everyday without even searching for them such as copper in pennies. The song is definitely going to stick for a while..."Iron, is metal. You see it everyday". Oh no!!!

I loved the song a lot!! It was a little corny though. I bet if you sing it over and over again you could probably memerize quite a few elements, and most likely learn some new chemical compounds, like sand. I liked how it described some stuff that could be described as boring, (no offense ms ghazarian,) and put it in a really interesting way. The song is still echoing in my head as I type this comment.

The video was very entertaining. I learned a few things about combining chemicals, and I think it was a fun way to learn about the periodic table.

I'm pretty sure this band LOVES pizza! I don't blame them!! Who doesn't? Anyways, I love the music, I love the pictures ( especially the elephant!!), and I like the way that they try to combine two completely different categories into one (Pizza and the elements!!!)

p.s.

I still can't get to the knee surgery game...

I really liked this video! It gave details about each element and presented it in a fun way. It also gave information about what happens when you combine elements.

SAND IS NOT A COMPOUND!! It's a MIXTURE...remember from room 5?? Anybody??
