I think that this huge improvement in the scientific field will help millions in no time. A lot of people (i've done research) are complaining about how this will just skyrocket health care costs- but they are wrong. I believe that this will HELP health care costs because it will cut down money on all the plastic surgery and bone transplants that are the surgeries that cost a lot. To get more stem cells, maybe they should take the stem cells from about-to-be-aborted babies and use THEM because they will die anyways. This could really help people like Brad and the hundreds of thousands out there who suffer from leukemia.

Wow, it's amazing how science can advance that much. I liked how the author explained why this bone replacing process works. It was very interesting in the beginning. Even though it is not needed it would have been a little more interesting if they said how the 14 year old boy was injured. After the first few paragraphs the story seemed to get long and pointless. It seemed like it was just repeating what already had been said.

I agree with you Noah. There is no reason to increase health care costs for a new advancement. It actually seems a lot cheaper than before when they didn't have this. And if they don't like this why don't they just stick to the old one?

this article was interesting, it will probably help millions of people. its also nice how this opperation boosted Brad's confidence so much. science used in this way can help people a lot! i think it would help if they used stem cells from a big chunk of skin from someone with healthy bones, that way, it would (maybe) be more likley that this person would have healthy bones.

I agree with Lily, this is a great scientific discovery maybe off of this discover will burst more and more findings.

I agree with Noah, if this works out within a few months this will help millions of people replace or get bone that they lost or didn't have before. With this scientific breakthrough, it will lead to more in better directions.

It is so cool how science advances this way.

I agree with Noah about the healthcare costs. It is definitely a big improvement in science. That is one of the reasons I gave this article to Ms. Ghazarian. It can help in many ways to do things like this.

It seems that the stem cells will greatly improve the medical world, and the writer described it very well. However, I don't think that the stem cells looked natural.

I think this is an incredibly cool article and I liked how the author explained properly how they were replacing the bones, what they were using and all in all just giving all of the proof.
