well this game was okay...i mean i learned about maybe 7 or 6 facts i hadn't known before, but overall it might've been just way to short for us to really test if we 'know about what'. some of the questions were just general information or common sense, but others just required for you to know your facts. overall this game is much better for little kids who are learning the basics of the importance of water on this world.

when i said 'know about what' i actually ment to say 'water' instead of 'what' sorry!

I thought this quiz was okay. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. I only learned three facts, but it was okay still. It could've been longer.

This quiz was okay. I learned a couple of facts. I thought that it was really interesting when they said that only 1% of the earths water is drinkable. That means we are probably going to run out faster than we would think.

this quiz had few facts that you couldnt make at least an educational guess most of them wereeasy and simple quesions

This game was great. Even though it wasn't the most entertaining I still learned a lot of new facts. Even the explanations for the questions I got right intrigued me. I love how it gave you reasons for the answer that was right. It was a fun learning experience. I can see why other people are saying this game is okay... because it was kind of short and random but it taught me a lot of cool facts.

Eli, you combined were and easy together to make wereeasy. But you probably already know that.

This quiz was fun, hard at first then easy. I scored 100%. I actually learned a couple things that I had never even heard of. It was pretty interesting.

I agree with Gaby, Declan, Brandon, and Dharan. It was not bad, however, it was not great. There were a few facts that I didn't know in there, but mostly you just have to use everyday common sense.

Brandon B said...

WOW that's a great score Elliott. I only scored a 60%. How many times did you try. I tried once.

The quiz was okay. I only got 4 right. It showed how little some of us know. It wasn't that much fun. It should of been longer.

Great game! I agree with Brandon B in the aspect that it was a little bit short, but still had cool facts and all of that stuff. I learned 7 facts I think... I think. Other than the shortness, it was great! Loved the quiz. (I got 70%. x3) I wonder if people had scored higher, they would have liked the game better? Just a random thought. :3

Didn't we do this last year? Anyway, when I first did this back in Room 5, I did okay. It really shows us what we know. I learned a lot of facts back then. It gets pretty repititive when you do it too much over the summer trying to get 100%. I think that they should have added more facts, and maybe make it a little less dumbed down for the older kids. Like Gaby said, this is better for the little kids. This quiz might actually make a small impact in the future when we are older and we know how important water is, and we need to conserve it, because we can't make water out of thin air. (Actually we can, except it tastes horrible because it doesn't have any impurities in it. We taste the impurities. Without it, water is tasteless and bland.)

The quiz was not that much fun. It wasn't long enough to be anything exciting, and it was just your classic kind of "edu-test". A lot of times, people don't use the right tactics to make learning these kind of things enjoyable for kids or pretty much anyone! I will say that I learned a couple of facts, but nothing extraordinary. One thing that really did surprise me was that Antarctica is the driest continent. I know that the polar ice caps are melting, and that the icebergs are all melting, but I thought that would just make more water! I didn't realize that since it's a desert, it does not receive much precipitation, which therefore makes it dry.
Even though I may have learned a bit, all of this has been taught to us in the past. We probably just forgot. I do understand that the purpose of this quiz was mainly to prove that we know so little about water and its importance. Also, we need to be aware and cautious users of this crucial resource. Unfortunately, whomever made this quiz just didn't quite use the correct ideas. If one was not to make comments like we are or think twice about things they did, I do not think that this quiz would have been much of a motivation or made a huge change in their lives.

the game was ok, it taught me a couple of facts but that was all, the rest i had learned in previous years, and i agree with declan, it could have been longer.

Lily said...

it was an ok game, not the best, and it didn't really teach me anything, more of stuff i learned in previous years

I was surprised at how many questions I got wrong at first, but then I played it again and it had repeated questions. It was a bit too easy when I played it twice because it gave me all the answers last time. Antarctica is the driest continent on earth? Learned that last year but still forgot. I don't believe that the average american uses up 100 gallons of water every day. I think that we should take these facts into consideration and think about water a bit more.

Brandon B said...

It repeated questions so if you played it multiple times it was boring but I only played it once so I can't be talking. And yes Howard we did do this last year. Before I actually saw the greatness and learning in this game (When I was in Room 5) I thought it was a little boring like some people are saying. That's why I can see and show respect for those comments.

This quiz average. I agree with Gaby, this quiz is for the little peoples of the world who are learning about the ocean. Although I did learn a few new cool facts. It was very short however, so it was more like something to quickly pass some time. Overall, it was okay. What I did like about it was that the questions were not impossible, but they were not super easy. I also agree with Howard, it shows us how much we progressed in general knowledge since past years. However, I question this games authority and on what level it was accurate. Many websites can say many things.

The game wasn't that good but a lot of the facts were all knew to me. I would have never guessed that Antarctica was a dessert. That placed has been covered in ice for like a million years. Also, I know learn a lot of people use to much water and all, but I would have never known an average person uses 100 gallons. Gaby is right though a lot of the "facts in the game are basics of the importance of water on this world." Also they could have had some more facts to at least make it a little longer.

Brandon B said...

The game was repetative but it still was a fun learning experience.

Robert said...

This game wasn't the best ever. I seemed to have known most of the facts even before i had playing, and I didn't find it to my interest. I also think that they could add more questions, and make them a little bit harder.

Griffin said...

I don't think that the quiz was that challenging, I knew everything, and it was kind of boring. Maybe the author could have made it a little more challenging.

the quiz had some interesting facts about water and the conservation of water. On the first tie i did the quiz, i got at least half of them right. the quiz is very informational and fun at the same time

dario said...

I thought that this game was pretty good i think that is amazing how much water we use a day and how rare usable water. The quiz could have had a few more questions, but the quiz had a lot of cool facts. Most of the questions were easy. I knew most of the questions because my reading assignment book was about water.Great quiz

Sayahn said...

I think that was way to easy. i knew almost all the facts. But Gaby was right it is good for kids about 6-7 years younger than us. It's good for Rm 1.

Brandon F said...

maybe to make it more affective, they could include more questions on water conservation

Cami said...

I think that some of the questions were way to easy, but overall it wasn't THAT bad. I would have preferred that some of the questions were harder, but it was okay.

Brandon B said...

Even though it is a little kiddyish it gave a lot of cool facts.

Liz said...

I knew most of the facts on the quiz so it didn't really serve a purpose.
